At Isovera, we take great pride in our work and our relationships with clients. It is a great pleasure to share with you that Isovera has been named a w3 Gold Award winner for our work with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston on their website and donation campaign.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston (RCAB) maintains several hundred websites over several CMSs, and needed a consolidated way to maintain, update, and grow its digital presence. RCAB’s disjointed websites resulted in costly and time-consuming updates, platform upgrades, and an inconsistent brand image. RCAB came to Isovera in need of a digital strategy that would align the approaches of its 288 parishes, covering 144 communities, which minister to the needs of 1.8 million Catholics.
The initiative ultimately included the migration of 288 parish websites into 157 parish-collaborative sites with a single template. This template has been adapted for the Central Ministries website, www.bostoncatholic.org, and the Catholic Schools Office website, www.csoboston.org. The schools’ template has been adapted for all 116 Catholic schools.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person religious services were halted, and church buildings were shut down across the church’s 144 communities, making it incredibly difficult for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston to receive donations. Because donations are integral to funding RCAB’s numerous programs and outreach services, the organization needed a way to secure financing for its 288 parishes, 56,000 education classes, and over 100,000 students.
Isovera developed an immediate plan of action to build and launch RCAB’s COVID relief and donation campaign, “90 Days Now – For Your Parish.” RCAB’s campaign was successful, with the first phase of “90 Days Now” reporting over $500,000 in gifts and pledges raised from more than 1,500 donors. Funds raised went directly to the parishes, and donations have since benefitted hundreds of parishes that have experienced reduced offertory due to the pandemic.
